Members present: Jim Searls, Gail Burgess, Paul White, Curtis Brown, Ryan Russell, Bishop Trimble, Lonnie Chaffin.
Chairman Ryan Russell noted that the purpose for this meeting was to check in and get updates.
Paul White explained that we are currently waiting for a Judicial Council decision; however, that may not be made until the end of May. We are hoping that Indiana can host a Jurisdictional Conference in November.
Lonnie Chaffin reported that money continues to come in from the conferences. We have enough available to hold the Jurisdictional Conference.
We will need to have a budget to present for approval at Conference. If we are meeting in November, reports will need to be in by the end of August. We will also need to review and vote on Grant applications. They are due September 1 and three have already been submitted.
It was agreed to set Wednesday, AUGUST 17 at NOON CDT for a full Mission Council ZOOM meeting if we are able to hold a November Jurisdictional Meeting. If we can’t hold the Jurisdictional Conference, we will not need to meet in August. Then we would need to schedule a meeting in September to review the grant applications.
